LEGAL INFORMATION

Privacy policy

How TimTech Studio collects, uses and protects your personal data.

Last updated: 22 July 2026

1. Who processes your data?

TimTech Studio is a sole proprietorship operated by Tim Vanfraussen in the Antwerp region, registered under enterprise number 1.040.537.311 and VAT number BE 1040.537.311. It uses the Belgian small-business VAT exemption scheme and is responsible for the processing described here.

The business address is Kempenlaan 25, 2300 Turnhout through 31 August 2026 and Jan Van Rijswijcklaan 271, 2020 Antwerpen from 1 September 2026. Visits are by appointment only.

2. What data do we process?

Only data needed to handle your request or assignment: name, email, contact details, communications, quotations, project files, invoicing and payment information. Forms may also contain information about a website, device, computer problem, backup, collection or 3D-print project.

During computer work we may unavoidably see data on a device. We access it only as necessary for the agreed diagnosis or repair. The hosting provider may process limited technical data to keep the website secure and available.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We use data to respond, prepare quotations, arrange and perform work, provide support, process payments and comply with legal obligations. The legal ground is your pre-contract request, performance of a contract, a legal obligation, legitimate interest or consent, depending on the situation.

4. Sharing with others

We do not sell your data. It is shared only when necessary with providers such as Netlify, email providers, suppliers, delivery services or professional advisers. Where processing occurs outside the EEA, we use a valid transfer ground and appropriate safeguards.

5. Retention

A request that does not become an assignment is kept only as long as necessary and normally no longer than 24 months after the last contact. Customer records, invoices and accounting documents are retained for the statutory periods. Device data is not copied or kept longer than necessary.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to limit unauthorised access, loss and misuse. No system is completely secure; contact us immediately if you suspect an incident.

7. Your rights

Where the law allows, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. You may withdraw consent for the future and lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

8. Cookies and changes

The website currently uses no first-party advertising cookies. External services are added only after the necessary information and choices have been considered. This policy may be updated as our services or obligations change.
